Using eighteen of Charlie Parker’s most masterful melodies, ukulele players of all stripes can learn how to make use of hammer-ons and pull-offs on the instrument’s short scale length to achieve fluid, saxophone-like phrasing.
Nine of the eighteen arrangements can be performed on ukuleles tuned with a High-G string, while all eighteen can be played using Low-G tuning. Each arrangement is written in both standard notation and TAB and includes a recorded play-along demonstration.
